Peace corps

The Peace Corps volunteers in the Morazon region of El Salvador have been incredibly helpful in our work in that region. On the upcoming November trip, a more formal relationship is expected to develop between PFCAC and the Peace Corps. Our goal is an ongoing relationship that fosters the transfer of medical knowledge to community health workers in the surrounding communities

Southside High School, Rockville Centre,NY

An ongoing supporter of PFCAC, the school has consistently helped us to get supplies for the children of EL Salvador. Voted one of the 50 best Public High Schools in the US. The principal, Carol Burris, has not only been supportive but even sent her daughter Katy, a dermatology resident, to work with us.

Basic Health

Basic Health website

Basic Health is a group that does cervical cancer prevention work in El Salvador. After meeting with Dr. Miriam Cremer, Lauren Ditzian and Mauricio Mauro (in El Salvador), PFCAC expects to begin a relationship with Basic Health to provide cervical cancer screening in the Morazan region.
